What are the contraints for marker placement in a template

Hi all,

I am trying to update my template, and I would like to move the patterns/markers used to realign the scans. What exacctly are the constraints on the marker shapes and positions ?

Would something like this work ?

By default it tries to find them from the corner, it tries to find a black circle with more than 60 per cent black fill and a certain size. You can parameterize the circle size that you want to match. (account -> preference)

OK, my question was too vague.

• Do you need 4 of them, or two are enough ?
• Do they need to be vertically aligned/horizontally aligned ?
