is the map necessary

a non-expert who reviewed the site found that the map was somewhat unwiedly and not really necessary. the list of countries is a much better way to actually find a country (especially if they are small). Maybe allow toggling the map on/off?

We can make it smaller. That way people find the other elements more easily.

I am wondering if at some point one of you tried a horizontal table instead of a vertical one for the country. It could be added under the map with the same size?

(NB: I find the map much handier and intuitive)
