Although it shouldn't be publicly possible to query key->owner, it would be okay to provide that info if the request is signed by the key itself.

POST /v1/key/owner
{
  address: 0xb2c33baa ... // to be signed by signature (without 0x)
  signature: { r: 0x2323... , s: 0xbc1453... , v: 0x19  }
}

The server side should

  • validate that the address is approved on blockchain
  • validate ECKey signature
  • search its database and if found, return the owner
{
  idCode: "38402050211",
  idProvider: "EST-ID"
}

or

{
  idCode: "152922",
  idProvider: "EST-BIZ"
}

bonus

  1. allow the recipient to query the ID of the sender, referring to a specific tx hash
  2. batch version of this request
