This is an awesome tool but having issues with a VM creation on proxmox

Followed this and it gets to the part of installing windows 11 - may restart several times.
Then finishes that part, shuts down and then does nothing.

Try to restart the VM and go in circles. I have selected the choose disk interactively and auto options, tried various options on your iso but still no luck unfortunately.

Any ideas?

I also follow this

I have other windows VM's running fine on proxmox so quite familiar with it. even the tiny and hacked lite versions.

Maybe the boot order on the vm options?

Thanks

I have no Proxmox environment available right now, but I have set up VMs in Promox through the autounattend.xml process successfully in the past.

For testing purposes, I would omit the virtio-win-*.iso image. Windows does not strictly need it, but you probably have to configure a basic SATA hard disk in your VM.

Almost daily for the past few weeks, I've successfully used the generated (not)autounattend.xml to install Windows 11 Pro and Pro N on Proxmox VMs. I just use a USB to provide the xml file. I have not tried the xml in ISO technique.
