Concepts provides an overview of key concepts and definitions. Display describes many of the main features of the gazetteer by reviewing a mock-up interface for a single place record. Search offers a review of several potential approaches to searching and browsing place records. Edit contains rough notes on editorial workflows. Milestones offers an alternative, check-list style overview of the gazetteer's functionality.
N.B.: All sections are WORK-IN-PROGRESS and will periodically be out of sync with parallel work on the gazetter's data model and technical infrastructure.
