Hello,

I’m new here. I’ve been planning a system since the summer of 2025, and things are finally starting to happen.

The inverter is now mounted and the panels are being installed. I also went to Norway over the Christmas holidays to pick up a battery.

I’ve just started building the electronics that will control the contactors, handle pre-charge, and connect the different fieldbuses.

I’m going to use a Solis S6-EH3P15K-ND-H inverter, and I’d be happy to provide any information needed to help get this model added to the list of supported inverters.

Hopefully everything will come together smoothly.

Do you have any updates on how you got on? I happen to have the Solis S6-EH3P20K-ND inverter and I'm trying to get the battery connected. What parameters did you use for the inverter?

Hi, just got the battery setup running yesterday evening. I used the protocols that was suggested on the solis inverter that is supported.
If you can get the battery to communicate with the Bat-Em node, then it should not be a problem to get the inverter to communicate with the battery.
Currrently while doing shakedown of the system and battery, i have restricted performance to 60% of max capacity, for safety reasons.

Hi, finally after a long winter and some minor challanges with the solar installation the system is live.

Kudos to the devteam involved with the Bat-em system. In regards to the whole project the Bat-em part has been by far the easiest.
I woulds say almost a out of the box solution.

The most labour intensive part have been the hardware interfarcing the battery, control, field bus and field install.

I would recommend to add this specific inverted to the supported list.

If there is need for data, settings, pictures and other info i am happy to share.
