Connecting the battery to the Model S 2012-2020. I'm connecting according to the instructions, but the battery isn't connecting. I checked the Telsa service manual—everything is correct. Is there a secret?

Did you wire the connectors according to the instructions in the Wiki page? If there is no communication at all, first check the CAN bus termination. Is the 180 Ohm HVIL resistor in place?

If the above is ok, can you upload a log of the CAN bus? Preferably with a CAN reader, since the logging function in Battery Emulator will miss frames.

Good afternoon. Sorry for the delay in replying. The battery isn't near me.
I rechecked the CAN bus connection and resistance – everything is fine, 61 ohms. I set the resistor on pins 10 and 11 to 180 ohms.
The battery has been trying to communicate several times and has received some data: battery weight, total number of charges.
The CAN bus log is only saved from the emulator itself.
Also, the emulator logs show a message that the battery is overheating.

I don't know yet where to look for the problem.

Those screenshots don't look like the Tesla Legacy implementation, I think you selected the wrong battery type in your settings.

Hi everyone. The problem was with the BMS board itself. After replacing it, the battery established normal communication and data was read. I'm preparing the wiring and will connect the battery to the inverter. Thanks everyone for your help.

Hi. Thanks to everyone who responded. The battery started working.
One thing: the battery contacts click several times when the battery is turned on. Is this supposed to happen? I haven't heard this happen with the Model 3.
