To kick it off. What would we need to make this happen?

• Designs
  • Need a place to put it a step of creation process or own step, maybe some styling guidance (or mocks ups)
• React Library to handle Selecting Dates
  • I suggest react-datepicker

Unknown for me is the contracts side of things and the hooks involved with deployment.

For UX, I want to push back on idea of just an input field? react-datapicker can return a valid in UTC (seconds).

I'm thinking of a similar UI to Sarcophagus with options and a date-picker. this would probably be better to if we decide for own screen

The concept of picking a date doesn't make sense to me for the votingPeriod. The votingPeriod is a global value that lives within the GovernorModule that applies to all proposals, its not like we can pick the votingPeriod per proposal.

But having a few pre-determined time selections, like 1 day, 1 week, etc. definitely makes sense.

Here is a point... We should not create an issue for purpose of testing. Correct? If this will be normally defaulted than why worry about this?
