Hey @remixod thanks for the interest: actually deveeldb.core is a working repository, and not the final one.
In fact, the original one is deveeldb and once this version will be completed, it will be published as DeveelDB 2.5, tagging the current DeveelDB 2.1

The project is still under heavy (massive) development and redesign, that is why it wouldn't even possible to define a "Getting started" guide: the project is coming along day by day, and until it won't be in a sort of Alpha, it won't be possible to say how to start.
