Npm execution of example apps instead of pnpm

Are there any example apps that use npm instead of pnpm. Pnpm is causing some problems.

👋 This is something we've discussed, but it hasn't been a super high priority. Can you outline what problems you're running into with pnpm? Generally you should be able to run pnpm install from the root of the repo, and then everything should work. Are you getting errors?
