It's been released since five years and the pubsub channel layer seems described as the more robust implementation concept while still in beta.
Is it usable in production?
It's described as: "For many use-cases this should be simpler, more robust, and more performant." but those use-cases are not listed. Does it scale batter? Is it better for low volumes or does it depends on how much groups are used by consumers?
I think a better use-case description of when to use pub-sub can be interesting as well as why it's still beta.
