I don't know if this is already supported but take this as a general question. I understand that jsdoc tags are supported here but when I generate them to html then they don't appear to have much significance. Take for instance @module @author and @global. @global, @module show up in the menu bar but there is no way of knowing if it's actually module or global. So, my question really is if those tags even mean anything to documentation at all.

See the tag support master ticket for which tags are currently supported: #9 - currently author isn't supported.
