<h1 class="lead">Hi, my name is Douglas Aguiar, I'm a Software Developer.</h1>
<p>I'm a <abbr title="Test-Driven Development">TDD</abbr>, <abbr title="eXtreme-Programing">XP</abbr>, Continuous Delivery, and <abbr title="Domain-Driven Design">DDD</abbr> practitioner with a passion for software craftsmanship. I have 18 years of software development experience and I have been a consultant, team leader, architect, and CTO.</p>
<p>Earlier 2020, I have co-founded <a href="https://dreamdev.io">DREAMDEV</a> to help companies deliver faster, better, cheaper software at scale.</p>
<p>My passion is to craft high-quality systems, help train others, and contribute to the software development community.</p>
<p>In 2010 I have founded <a href="https://facebook.com/DevIsland">DevIsland</a>, a software development community. I’ve organized the DEVDAY conference with more than 4000 attendees over the years, and several coding dojos and meetups.</p>
