Two audio streams playing at once #4
Comments
Appreciate this. When you get it running as an unverified app does it still do this? |
I'll let you know the answer if I can actually do that. I got it correctly bypassed using System Settings, but the app still doesn't launch by double-clicking the .app file, with no error message. |
Which is are you using is it sequoia? Does an earlier version work? The modes feature required more rewriting and may have added instability. The extra testing you are doing helps. |
Appreciate it. I just uploaded new build with some fixes to ui obstruction a few days ago by adding constraints for apple silicon. Also today made some changes to reduce likelihood of double streaming and others to station mode errors.
|
In beta 6, I still can't get it to launch without using the command line, but the two songs playing at once has not happened again. However, now the window is resizable and it's doing weird things to the window elements. |
this is a bug on 1.32b5 and b6 1.32b4 does not have this bug and I am working on rewriting to fix this bug and remove old code. |
New 1.32b8 is apple notarized and refactored. The two audio streams is a thread sync issue that should be fixed with nsurlsession and appdelegate refactor. Though unfortunately I had to remove the station modes. |
After running the app via double-clicking in /Contents/MacOS/, then quitting it, and relaunching it in the same manner, the same audio stream is playing twice, overlapping itself. When I hit the pause button, one of the streams stopped and the other stream continued playing. The UI shows that it's not playing. When that song ended, another song started, but the UI did not update—it still shows the old sold. And if I hit the play button, the previous song begins playing simultaneously.
After that, with the UI still showing the song not playing, I quit the app. Then I relaunched it, and the original song started playing at the moment it had last stopped—but another song also started playing at the same time.
