Porting Fast-DDS to VxWorks

Hello everyone,

I’m planning to port eProsima Fast DDS to VxWorks 653, and I would really appreciate guidance from those with more experience.

My target environment is:

Workbench 4 (cwv 152)
VxWorks 653 3.0.1 (SP3) or 3.1, and VxWorks Cert 6.6.7
RTP, no security, Windows host
NXP T2080-QDS for development (PowerPC e6500)
For a junior engineer, do you think this port is feasible? If so, could you share any advice on the approach, build steps, required patches, or common pitfalls?

I welcome any suggestions, questions, or references (docs, scripts, prior experiences).

Hi, that port is complex. For VxWorks, the best alternative is our product Safe DDS (commercial licensing).
