Why owns Mylyn C/C++ connector?

I'm likely a corner case, but I'm a big fan of the Mylyn task-focused interface. Unfortunately, there is a performance degradation when working with C++ code in a task context, seemingly typing responsiveness is affected and overall things are much less smooth than normal. Is this something that CDT team owns or do I need to reach out to Mylyn people?

I think it is the mylyn team, but of course it could be a combination.

Fortunately one of the main maintainer or mylyn is also an active cdt maintainer, so hopefully he can guide you best.

It's nice to know that the task-focused interface still has its fans.
Please open an issue for Eclipse Mylyn with steps to reproduce, so we can start localizing the problem.

Sadly, but it looks like I'm unable to come up with a reproducible case that I can share. I had AI create me a Python script that generates a synthetic source tree and I'm not seeing the issue with a project containing 20000 cpp files. I experience it with the actual project I'm working with that I cannot share. It's a big project, the resulting pdom file size is just shy of 1Gb. I have a suspicion it may be related to the health of the index and/or its size, as while the indexer has no issues parsing the rather primitive synthetic source files I get red squiggly lines here and there in my actual project. I'll report back if I find anything of interest.
