Template-Basic runtime components

Hi all,
When trying to use Template-Basic for developing a new extension I see there are two main components: controlplane and dataplane.

1. First question: why these two components and not provider/consumer as used in Samples?
2. In case of using controlplane or dataplane, are these components ready to manage queries to management API?
3. If so, any example of extension about managing call to management API?

I will close this discussion, because it is too wide, too basic and you obviously didn't read the documentation. It seems you are lacking the most basic knowledge about EDC, that you could have easily obtained, had you looked at the docs landing page at all . From your questions it is clear that you haven't.
