[Question] Problem in layered hierarchical graph with cross hierarchy edges

Hello,

I'm using elk in a big tree view. Now I'm coming to a problem which i simplified here in two variants:

• Using Include Children

Link with using Include Children

• Not using Include Children

Not using Include Children

I used both variants, with an extra port and one without an extra port

Expected behavior

My expected behaviour would be to have overall the layered RIGHT Layout. Inside the group the Layered DOWN layout and both nodes which are linked from inside should be right of the group node connected with a line

When not using include children, you need to put edges inside the most common node of the two nodes you want to connect.

Moreover, it is not possible to have a connection between the two inside nodes since this so called in-layer edge is forbidden in Elk layered.
