What Kura version are you using? Can you share the logfile for when the error occurs?

Based off the limited information you provided I suspect it can be a Eclipse Marketplace keys issue: see the warning in this page for remediation. Alternatively you can download the .dp and upload it to install it.

I've faced today with the same issue when trying to install an official add-on from Eclipse Marketplace.

I've followed the link you shared in your first comment in order to add the adequate certificate needed.

After adding the Certificate, seems it's expired and that's why (I guess...) I'm still receving the error to install from marketplace.

The certificate reported in the documentation is for user convenience (and, as you noticed, quite hard to keep updated apparently) but there's multiple ways to overcome the issue:

1. You can download the .dp files on your workstation and then upload them on the Kura UI. This will bypass the certificate issue.
2. You can download the latest certificate from the Eclipse marketplace via openssl s_client -showcerts -connect <download_link>:443 as documented in our docs and then update it in Kura UI

Finally, a word of warning: with Kura 6.0.0 we will deprecate the marketplace and .dps for distributing Kura addons in favour of Debian packages and our own apt repository. Hopefully this will solve the issue in the long term.

Meanwhile I'll try and update the certificate with the new one in the docs.

Thanks! Finally I used Option no 2. and solved the issue, i was able to drag and drop the package and install into kura. Thanks for the notice of Option no 1. I knew about it, but wanted to fix the second one ;-)

About this, I am interested to know, to develop future addons (until now I was creating .dps addons with maven plugin) will you update the documentation for developers to know how to implement this new distribution based on .deb packages? And... so Kura 6.0.0 won´t accept .dp's from now on?

We developed a Maven Archetype for this purpose. It sets up everything you need and produces a .deb package of your addon. You can find the documentation here.

And... so Kura 6.0.0 won´t accept .dp's from now on?

Kura will keep accepting .dps in the UI for installing addons but the feature is officially deprecated and will be removed in the future. Before doing so we need to fix a couple more stuff (for example, for now, .deb addons can be installed only at installation time, not at runtime... but we're working on it).
