Announcing the official Kura APT repositories

We’re excited to announce the official launch of the Kura projects APT repositories! This marks a major step forward in making Kura easier to access and install.

Thanks to the Nexus 3 instance provided by the Eclipse Foundation, we currently host two repositories:

• Development repo — Nightly builds and pre-release artifacts.
• Production repo — Stable, production-ready releases. Documentation available here

If you're eager to test our development builds of Kura 6, our next major release, follow these steps:

1. Install the required packages:

   apt install -y curl gpg

2. Download the GPG key and add it to the list of trusted keys:

   curl -L "https://keyserver.ubuntu.com/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xba7e3df5edc3fc36" | gpg --dearmor | tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/kura.gpg > /dev/null

3. Add the Kura dev APT repository to your system's software sources list:

   echo "deb https://repo3.eclipse.org/repository/kura-apt-dev/ unstable main" | tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kura.list

4. Update the package list:

   apt update

5. Install Kura package:

   apt install kura

   or, if you want a minimal installation, you can install:

   apt install kura-core kura-management-ui
