Hi, You can find the generated documentation for the REST API here: To delete a session, you need to use the "DELETE" method. The JSON body should look similar to this:
Additionally, you must include the authentication token as a Bearer token in the request.

Hi, Thanks for your reply, I have tried the above method but I am facing the 500 internal error issue from the postman Logs from the service pod 2025-01-27 12:23:29,485 ERROR [io.qua.ver.htt.run.QuarkusErrorHandler] (vert.x-eventloop-thread-7) HTTP Request to /service/session failed, error id: 460ef9f6-79a8-4ff4-a18e-1b5b8e571be5-21: io.quarkus.oidc.OIDCException: OIDC Server is not available
Also the bearer token I have copied from the session pod THEIACLOUD_SESSION_SECRET: ef586afe-da15-40fa-88ee-bd6c325d3567 |

"OIDC Server is not available" sounds like Keycloak is either not running or not reachable. Here you can find information about how to get a test environment: https://main--theia-cloud.netlify.app/documentation/trytheiacloud/ Regarding the token: Typically, you would use a library to authenticate with Keycloak, similar to this example: theia-cloud/node/landing-page/src/App.tsx Line 129 in 4920b92 The idToken should the bearer token. When you just want to test the API with postman on a test setup, you can inspect the network requests sent from the landing page to the REST service using Chrome DevTools. Enable the "Preserve Log" option in the Network tab to capture the requests, where you should be able to see the bearer token. Then start a new session to see and log the requests. |

Hi, I have skipped the Keycloack installation as it is not required for us. Still my doubt is when I am creating a session, I am not passing any bearer token but when I am trying to delete the same session it is not allowing me, Is keycloack is mandatory installation to create the session or delete the session. |

Hi @code-muralikrishna , deleting sessions is not allowed without using authenticated users via Keycloak. You can see this in the code here: The reason is to prevent anyone being able to delete arbitrary sessions of other users. The same is true for most other operations of the /session resource. |

I can able to create the session and run the instance with below details.

When I am trying to delete the same session with below body it is giving me the 403 http error
