Sadly Microsoft kills every good little projets... But this means also less constraints maintaning that Store version. I always prefer installs from GitHub repos to ensure the software will work as intended. I'm not sure about it but it does support winget right? If so that's enough in my opinion |

In 2022, Microsoft updated their policies for Microsoft Store. Since then, new apps and updates to existing apps require signed binaries.
Such code signing certificates cost several hundreds of euros each year. Paste Into File is FOSS and has zero earnings, therefore it cannot afford a code signing certificate. Unfortunately, this means, that I can no longer push updates to the Microsoft Store.
Users are asked to download and install Paste Into File from the GitHub Release page instead.
Since version 5, Paste Into File can check for updates and notify on new releases (update checks can be disabled from the settings menu).
