Structured logging

Write backend logs in a standard serialization format (e.g. JSONL) to support using them programmatically (e.g. in the session log UI).

I looked in to how we could do this. It could be done more efficiently by someone with more Java experience.

Introducing structured logging:

• We could use logstash-logback-encoder to configure our slf4j Logback backend to log messages in a standardized JSON-based log format.
• If the backend can provide logs in this Logstash format, the project session log viewer can be simplified to use it instead of parsing log messages.

Making more use of structured logging:

• We can use the SLF4J Fluent API to transition string-concatenation logging to key-value logging.
• We may also use the SLF4J MDC API to attach additional context to log messages.
