Description
I have a photo which I wanted to rotate by 180° (e.g. 2 times left 90°). The original size is 4000x2252 pixels, 9.0MP, 2.65MB
When rotating it on my smartphone (Samsung S24), I saw that the quality was reduced to 2000x1126, 2.3MP, 780.60KB
Then I tried on my tablet (Android): 3553x2000, 7.1MP, 2.07MB
And I tried on the desktop app (MacOS): 4000x2252, 9.0MP, 1.94MB
Expected behaviour:
- Simple editing functions should not reduce the quality or at least not massively as on the smartphone app
- Editing behaviour should be the same across environment: i.e. why is the quality reduction based on the used app. It's not even the same between 2 different Android variants!?
- Quality loss (if unavoidable) should be accompanied by a warning
