We want to have fun at what we do (we actually do have fun : ) and we want others to have fun at what they do too. Our guidelines should help us to ensure this goal. Following our guidelines helps us to communicate and collaborate in an positive, appreciative and effective way.
Furthermore our guidelines are the result of trial and error and of continuous deliberation. Our guidelines help us to sidestep many common pitfalls we encountered. This guidelines are not perfect but they give us at least some good hints and helpfull directions.
