"no internet connection" error, even if i have internet, no firewall or anti virus is blocking it, whats happening!!!! #70
Comments
Check for any firewall rules blocking BOIIIWD.exe or something of this sort (antivirus...) BOIIWD pings 8.8.8.8 to check for connection ,if connection is unavailable/blocked it will display that window and limit functionality by design (try "ping 8.8.8.8" manually in CMD or PoweShell and double check that its returning bytes) Please check and let me know, if still nothing ,try toggling on "Display Console" in settings and show me what it outputs when that message pops up |
okay, thanks, i will try later when i got time and i will let you know if it works or not |
context: it worked like 2 days ago and afterwards it basically said i had no internet something must've happened to the server or something, could you tell me if it works for you still? |
I can confirm that it works for me at the moment and a couple of other people as well, the 8.8.8.8 ip that BOIIIWD pings to check for connection is a dns server that belongs to google and has >99% uptime which means it pretty much never went down, so this is most likely an issue on your end of some sort ,try the above steps and let me know whenever you can |
By the way, I use NextDNS, does that cause any issues? (i forgot to mention that) |
That definitely can cause an issue ,I'm not sure about the windows app of NextDNS and how it works but check if you can find any type of whitelist or something similar so you can add BOIIIWD.exe to not use NextDNS, another guy had a similar issue but using a VPN, split tunneling solved his issue! |
yeah, even tried older versions, none of them work
