According to this ticket, the original dev is stepping down from maintaining realworld.io, and the api server is now offline.

Yep, thanks for noticing! We'll try to work out a replacement, hopefully soon enough

I've created a replacement and integrated it into the tutorial starter code, thank you for the report!
