Multiple navigation badges per resource

To show multiple counts within the sidebar navigation, such as a count per resource "status", it would be great to allow multiple badges with a different colour each. The alternative at the moment is something like this and concating all the values in the single getNavigationBadge;

But this would be great (just mocked up);
