Chimwemwe has an invalid phone number. when trying password reset it clearly validates the entire user profile and was stopping him from resetting his password due to his invalid phonenumber error.

I don't know that this is a high priority issue since I believe Chimwemwe is the only one facing this problem with an invalid phonenumber. Labelling this with a won't fix.
