Dowload not starting if connected to no-internet WiFi (local network only) and airplane mode ON

Describe the bug
I'm working on application that connect to a device using WiFi. In this case the wifi has no internet connection and is a local network.
I need to download some files from device so I tried this library but when I enqueue the download it does not start.
I tried to turn OFF airplane mode (used due to conflict with cellular network and local network IP) and downloads started.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Set airplane-mode ON or turn off cellular network
2. enqueue a download
3. download will not start
4. disable ariplane mode or turn on cellular networ
5. download will start (but in my case fails due to IPs conflicts)

Expected behavior
Download should start even no internet network. Maybe a parameter can be added to allow start downloading even when device is connected to a no-internet network
