General state of the project?

Hi, Fortran noob here, though I really dig the language compared to e.g. c++.

fpm is amazing.

That said, 0.12 on an apple silicon computer frequently segfaults, for reasons I'm unable to understand. Regressing to 0.11 seems to help, but this leads me to wonder: since there haven't been releases since mid-2025, does the project still have significant momentum, or is it advisable to stick to more traditional tools, like makefiles etc.

In no way do I mean this as a criticism -- I'm just asking about the empirical situation of the tool. Thank you.
