Runners not being registered with default ami_filter value

Hi, I have a config that creates an instance on job running, but the runner never registers with github. Also, although enable_ssm_on_runners is set true I am also unable to connect via SSM to diagnose further.

Any pointers appreciated!

Hoping I'm missing something obvious?
