Your question
How is the streak calculated? Does it depend on timezone? After coming back from a trip in a country with a vastly different timezone, my streak got butchered and now i have a bunch of empty days where I used to have a continuous streak.
Is there any way to fix this behavior? The only way I could think of was to manually edit review times in anki's database.
Is there any particular reason why streak data has to be recalculated dynamically every time, instead of storing data in a file (making it impossible for time changes to retroactively break streaks)?
Edit
For now I was able to get my streak back by manually changing the "Next day starts at" option in Anki, but this is obviously not ideal IMO.
Thank you.
