sudo prompt under lf

Is there any clever solution so that when I want to enter a password with sudo (in a command section in lfrc), it appears at the bottom under lf, e.g., %echo something?
So, is it possible to redirect the sudo prompt to appear at the bottom of lf?

So in general, using % instead of $ shows all the output in the bottom left.
When trying it myself like this cmd sudols %sudo -v && sudo ls or just cmd sudols %sudo ls I do indeed see the input prompt but it does not seem to take my password.

I tried this:

No matter what I type, nothing actually happens.
