The dependency https://github.com/metrics20/go-metrics20 is archived and unlicensed. It does mention this project (specifically https://github.com/graphite-ng/carbon-relay-ng/blob/master/docs/validation.md) has this functionality been moved into carbon-relay-NG?

@Dieterbe You were the original maintainer, could you shed some light regarding this dependency?

AFAIK no one ever really adopted the metrics2.0 stuff, so my recommendation is to remove it altogether. until that happens, if it helps, since i wrote the vast majority of the code, i'm happy to hereby grant usage of the go-metrics20 code under MIT or apache2
