I just wanted to report that SHIFT+scroll no longer works for me in Firefox 88.0 (stable release) on Linux Mint 19.2.

I assume this might have something to do with the addition of support for smooth pinch-zooming using a touchpad on Linux (Cinnamon doesn't support Wayland, so pinch zooming still doesn't work for me).
