Add FileShot.io — zero-knowledge encrypted channel for secure IOC/TTPs sharing #324

Suggest: FileShot.io for Secure Intelligence Sharing

I would like to suggest FileShot.io as a tool for secure file-based threat intelligence sharing.

Use case in threat intelligence

Threat intelligence teams often need to share sensitive IOCs, malware samples, or TTP documentation:

  • Share YARA rules, STIX bundles, or malware samples without exposing them on unencrypted email or cloud drives
  • Send classified indicators to trusted partners without server-side exposure
  • Transfer incident artifacts confidentially to external analysts

How FileShot.io solves this

  • AES-256-GCM encryption in the browser — files are encrypted before upload; server never sees plaintext
  • Zero-knowledge key management — decryption key in URL fragment, never sent to server
  • No account required — minimizes analyst exposure and trail
  • Self-hostable (MIT) — run on trusted infrastructure for sensitive sharing
