Option to resize table on column resize

I’m using the column resizing feature and would like an option for the table to automatically expand when dragging a column edge.

Currently, when I resize a column, the other columns shrink to compensate, keeping the overall table width fixed. However, I’d prefer the option for the resized column to simply grow wider — without affecting the widths of the other columns — so the total table width increases instead.
