Any updates on this project? An estimated release date?
Also will you be able to use Klipper on this? This seems to be the perfect platform for it.

Seconded.

Third-ed. This is an amazing controller that I would love to implement in my new printer. When can we expect a saleable release?

Been looking around for a second platform to use alongside Duets and this is interesting. Does it support PT100 sensors either directly or through daughter boards? Is it likely that two boards could sync together to get more steppers? Max step rate to 6 drives? Heater fault detection/protection?

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

When you say external amplifier board do you mean one that inputs a digital signal or fakes a thermistor input?

So something like this:

...rather than:

Hey DocTrucker,
Both of those are PT100 compatible boards. Not sure what you mean by fake a thermistor so I'll say this.

Adafruit
-2/3/4 wire PT100
-SPI Comms output. It looks like there is no specific header made available for additional equipment on Revolve but one of the two external stepper ports may be able to be re-purposed for what you want. @eliasbakken please confirm.
-May need additional programming, but not too much, to communicate with Revolve.
-This is a higher quality design unit compared to the other.

E3D Online
-2 wire PT100 (3/4 wire probe will still work but the system is generally less accurate.)
-Analog Output(0-5V), needs to be connected to an analog input pin. It looks like all 8 Analog inputs have been used on board revolve.

Hope this helps

Felix

Edit: Changed info based on what I could determine from PCB design A5

@DieKatzchen the project is cancelled and replaced by Recore: http://www.thing-printer.com/recore/
