CALCOFI fish larvae
Describe your dataset and any specific challenges or blockers you have or anticipate.
I am working with CalCOFI.org (UCSD, NOAA, CA FWS), especially with @evsatt & @mfrants, to publish and update datasets onto OBIS, such as the following fish larvae dataset:
- CALCOFI fish larvae at 66 standard stations, 1966 - ongoing | Environmental Data Initiative
- CALCOFI datasets | ERDDAP CoastWatch
I am also sharing metadata to The Ocean InfoHub Project & ODIS, a la Generate a datasets sitemap.xml for ODIS crawling and updating products in CalCOFI.io and Documentation | CalCOFI.io.
We are working on an integrated database that ingests source data, updates COMMENTs on tables and columns for re-use in metadata generation into EML for publishing to repositories such as OBIS using workflows.

The raw data is currently being served via a NOAA database and ERDDAP server.
