RANSAC initial points from subset

I want the initial points (n=3) for RANSAC to be from a specific subset of the point cloud. Is this somehow possible or do I have to go through the plane model and reimplement the algo? (Note that the initial points should be from a subset but RANSAC should consider all points.)
