Time lag

I used timer but there is one major issue, the timer control shows time lag when compared to the actual clock. The timer ticks are slow as compared to actual clock ticks which results in time lag and that can be in minutes.
Is there any way to fix this.

Is there a solution for this yet? It's just become an issue in one of my apps to the point where I'll have to find another solution entirely if this can't be remedied. That aside, thank you for your script.

Hey @shaynasymons this is not fixed in the currently released version. You can try checking out #17 which makes changes that should fix this issue.
