Should the documentation be updated to mention that this permission is required?
In my case, the instances weren't terminated because my role didn't have it.
Perhaps a warning in the UI would also be helpful.
Even the connection test didn’t mention the missing autoscaling:TerminateInstanceInAutoScalingGroup permission.
