Populate Notifications dropdown

Populate with actual notifications. Should I only show most recent/unread notifications in dropdown, and have Show All button that takes them to separate page to view all notifications? Should a user receive an email when there's a new notification? If so, should they have the ability to modify what types of emails they receive in their profile settings?

Update: "Added Mark All As Read" button action to dropdown; still need to figure out flow for reading a single notification and marking that one as read.
