What should editing a post interaction look like?

Currently there is an Edit option in the ellipsis dropdown of a post if you are the author. If a user clicks on that, what should happen? Go to a new page? Switch out text of post for a Quill editor and a submit/cancel button? Leaning towards the latter option.
