Articles not displaying tags/taxonomies

Hello,
I want my article to display a list of tags. I'm using the standard "tags" taxonomy for this. I have showTaxonomies = true in the [article] section of params.toml. I have it set to true for the list pages and it displays just fine there. It seems to just be the article pages. It also doesn't display if I explicitly set showTaxonomies=true in the article's front matter. The tags appear to be processed by Hugo correctly and are showing up on my Tags page with the correct counts. Is there some other configuration that I'm missing?

Hi there, I think I'm facing the same issue, but what I've found out is that when I set showDate = true (in params.toml or in the article's front matter), then the tags appear also.

Is there a way to display the tags but not the date? Is this a bug?
