Minor mouse movements throws off double-click and triple-click selection on field entry boxes

Take the add entry screen as an example.
Double-click and triple-click behaviour is different in field entry boxes versus notes entry. The "Notes:" entry is what I am used to, but in the "Title:" entry any minor movement of the mouse throws off the double and triple clicking. I noticed this because my mouse moves a tiny bit when I click, there is no issue in the "Notes:" entry - it has the same desired behaviour as in any web browser.

Try triple-clicking test-test-test-test in the Title and Notes boxes with strong mouse presses.

Is this a KDE issue or is there a custom click-to-select implementation here?

This would have nothing to do with us, either Qt or KDE. Although when in a text edit field you cannot move the mouse when double clicking because then it will be observed as changing the cursor position.
