How to run KeePassXC 2.7.11 100 % headless (no Dock icon, no menu-bar/tray icon) while keeping full browser-extension integration?

Environment

• macOS: 26.1 (Tahoe)
• KeePassXC: 2.7.11 (installed via official .dmg from keepassxc.org, not Homebrew)
• Browsers: Mozilla Firefox - v145.0.2
• Extension: official KeePassXC-Browser (latest)

Goal

Run KeePassXC completely headless on macOS:

• No Dock icon at all
• No menu-bar / tray icon at all
• Database stays unlocked in the background
• Browser extensions (Firefox/Chrome) stay connected and can autofill without any user interaction
• Must survive sleep, logout/login, reboots (auto-start at login is acceptable via LaunchAgent if needed)

What already works perfectly

• Normal GUI mode + “Run in background after closing window” → works, but still shows the menu-bar lock icon
• Hiding the tray icon with defaults write org.keepassxc.KeePassXC ShowTrayIcon -bool false → removes the icon, but after logout/login or reboot the app no longer starts automatically and the extensions become disconnected (red icon)

What I have already tried (none give a reliable 100 % headless solution)

1. keepassxc-proxy + LaunchAgent → extensions stay permanently disconnected
2. keepassxc-cli open … + proxy → same, extensions cannot connect
3. Background mode + hide tray icon → works until reboot/logout

Question to the team / community

Is there an officially supported or community-verified method/third-party in 2025 to run KeePassXC on macOS in true daemon/headless mode (zero visible UI elements) while keeping the built-in native messaging host active for the browser extensions?

If yes – could someone share the exact LaunchAgent plist (or alternative method) that works reliably after reboot/login?
