In hangouts while video calling it is impossible to tap somewhere on the screen to focus camera on something. Focus is always at far objects (infinity). This is very inconvinient, because it causes impossibility to show objects that are near smartphone, for example, when you want show text on a piece of paper or text at a monitor's screen.
It would be nice to add ability of focusing in hangouts, just like in any usual camera application.
The second inconvinience is impossibility to turn on flash light while video calling in Hangouts. And you cannot activate it by clicking flash icon in your android, because flash light is kind of part of a camera, but camera is occupied by Hangouts.
