After manually executing the workflow and stopping it manually, I checked the running history and found that the status was always' running '. My version is 1.40. Can you tell me if this error has been fixed by a new version？

Yes, this issue has been addressed in newer versions. A major refactor in July 2025 improved how workflow execution status is updated and stored, ensuring that when a workflow is manually stopped, its status correctly transitions out of 'running' in the history. These changes are part of the latest releases, so upgrading to the newest version of Dify should resolve the problem you described. You can review the relevant code updates here.
